For Bryston users : Just came over this :

this is an old article, but maybe its still true, I dont know.
Seems that maybe an NOS dac would be the way to go for Bryston users,

Hi Folks;
I don't know diddily about Dacs, but I'd like to suggest another forum
that seems to.

I'm not post savvy enough to make that a real link, unless its done
automatically. Most of those posts are about outboard Dac's with a
final goal
Looks like it worked out very nicely. My home isn't as old, but I had
experienced dimming of the lights at an older home when I was much
younger and I used to blast my old Yamaha M85 285 W/C amp. The tweak
that I'm considering is getting a good power cord along with a new
receptacle for my amp to
Dimmers are a no-no in audiodisconnect them.

Pacific valve has a great deal on the DIYEDEN Great March2.
I was wondering if anyone has had a chance to audition this or other
similar Chinese DACs.
it uses the PCM1798 chip and the DAC60, a tube DAC uses the PCM1704
chip.

Ben,
I've thought of repacing the existing receptacles with Cu/Au Furutech
outlets, but wonder if I'll notice any difference in my system. I'd
like to ask how old your house is just to get an idea if I should
consider replacing my wires as well.
TIA,

I like the styling of that one. The Xilink chip is a nice touch as well.
I'm no fan of Delta Sigma DACs, so I won't comment on their BB chip

It does have a single conventional transformer instead of dual R core

The whole system needs to be balanced, the whole chain. Great
