active speaker concept.

You can bet on the expensive part. Naim's new CD555 integrated costs
£15,000 sounds, or $26500. And that is without the optional 555PS
external power supply, which cost another $8,000 or so.
And that's just for the top end CD player. They are known for their
amplifiers.
