As per a number of locations throughout southern Ontario, a couple of
pelicans have visited Komoka Provincial Park.
One of the local birders contacted me to say that she had a heads up that
there were 2 pelicans on the north side of the park in the ponds there.
She was able to locate one later

the north end of the larger island below the power plant (the one with the
danger signs on it). Last night it was on the south side of the same island.

Pelican in Erieau this afternoon. It was being seen from the road (I assume) in
the pond at McGeachy Pond CA.

ponds. There is active construction in the ponds so it may not stick around.

It was seen today swimming offshore from the marsh lookout and later loafing on

MacGregor Point Provincial Park.

I had 45 minutes this afternoon to check out Rattray Marsh for
shorebirds. At 2:25 pm the pelican flew in to the marsh and settled
in. Immediately one of the Mute Swans which as chasing at Trumpeter
Swan and went after pelican ... within about 5 minutes it flew off
