All is well with XP SP2 and CFMX.The new firewall in XP does it's job, basically, which is disallow network traffic.
If you want CFMX to be able to communicate, you have to give it permission. That's pretty much it.

DSL customers that they determined were not taking necessary precautions
to protect themselves against viruses.Their rationale was that they
were not going to provide bandwidth to somebody who wasn't interested in
taking
Man, i couldn't agree more.
But as a cynic, who has little faith in the intelligence of collective humanity, i'm not at all surprised. Nor do i expect things to get any better in the forseeable future.

I guess i didn't know email clients were such a problem out there.
I popped open Outlook express several years ago, entered a few addresses, some rules, some security set up, and have never once had any glitch of any kind.
You guys doing some complex stuff with your clients???

That may keep past (and present) political office holders (of various
levels) off the net. Not necessarilly a bad thing except when they try to
make laws about something they know nothing about.
