Caller ID info can be changed by the caller and it's very likely a
telemarketer. A company I recently worked with has a call center (for
inbound support calls)
The technology that's spawed widespread Caller ID spoofing is VoIP,
though I think you can do it with POTS too if you know what you are
diung.
