BP is clueless on how to stop something this massive, and at that depth.
They've never had something like this happen before afaik.

The containment dome (which always reminds me of the Simpsons movie)
didn't work because methane gas crystallized and clogged up the tube.

I was stopped on the Canadian border and held because we had an Irish
