just for me to kind of get down some of my memories of him in a tangible form

Well, I do have another little sheltie now (so glad I didn't wait to get

That is really sad. It is hard to lose a companion like that. I
remember losing our matriarchal dachshund Heidi when she was 15. My
parents breed her for many years and it was sad to lose a family
member that had been there my whole life.
We just moved into a house were we can now have pets and m

Mary Jo, I've read your blog about Taz and I smiled at a 9 year old dog
taking 2nd at nadac nationals and at all his titles and his obvious joy in
those weave poles. He was a remarkable dog sports partner as I am sure you
must be. When people told you that they wanted a dog just like Taz, they

internally. There definitely wasn't much else that would explain the way he
crashed, but without an autopsy there's no way to say for

Thanks I am still majorly in shock because it happened so fast (about 3
hours from the time I noticed he was having a problem to when he was put to
