Seems like its just a conversionist dream...

We (regular infantry) don't but I know that the operators do. The Army is
FINALLY opening up the competition for a new carbine though. The exclusivity
clause with Cold is finally over and hopefully the brass will be able to
decide on a decent weapon.

back in 1997. Two individuals fired over 1100 rounds from AK-47s and hit 17
people. 1.5% hit ratio.

The AK is a fully automatic weapon, and an inherent issue with anything
automatic is that if you just pull the trigger and let her rip, the gun will
walk up and over to one side. This is why we teach the SAW and 240B gunners
