No. You won't be able to use third-party ISAPI filters, or IIS 6's built-in

The version of IIS that comes with Windows XP is not the same as IIS on Windows

with the stupid stick so that it will recognize a .cfm file.
If by stupid stick you mean the JRun web server configuration utility,
yes. Apache is no different, really, except that the web server
configuration utility doesn't tend
But I bet I can download, install apache, configure it to
work with cf, and set up a virtual site on it before you
can find your XP CD to install IIS :-P
Everything is easy, once you know how to do it. Nowadays, though, you
typically don't have to have the CD to install IIS - most PC vendors
I'll gladly provide video editing / formatting info for CF info any day!
I started my business back in 1994 when computer-based video editing
was in its infancy. So I have a *lot* more experience with thatbut I've
gotten kinda bored with that, so I'm letting some of that business go.
Yea, along with a bunch of (ad|bloat)ware. That's why I blow away all my

Well then, you could put the install files on the disk yourself. But you

Well I think everyone can agree that Dell makes great
computers... the standard installs that those computers come
with? Not so great for power users.
I'm not sure I agree with either of those, but whatever. I consider myself
somewhat of a power user, but that doesn't mean I have to

The only version of IIS that you can install on Windows XP is the one that
comes with Windows XP. So, if you need to run multiple virtual servers, you
will need to
