I'm about to replace the vent window gaskets in my el camino. The
gaskets have been sitting a while. They have a white film on them that I
can't get off. I've tried dish soap simple green. Anyone have a
suggestion on a cleaner? I'd like them black before I install them.

seated. If I had to venture a guess I'd say that the 30 year old rubber
bushings have died of old age. There are about 4-6 bushings on each

Nuts that hold it in are on the engine side, then it pulls out thru
interior. I'd run clean water from a hose thru it, to wash out all of
the anti freeze.

What do I think, 1- It needs to be parked in my driveway. . 2- You need
