since your frame switch is normally considered the DCE you'll also want to
enable you clock rate on the connecting
A point to point circuit is dedicated for your use. You don't have to worry
about congestion in your provider's network causing you to lose data between
sites. The down side is that you lose flexibility. The config is as simple
as you want it to be.

supervisor engine scans the bus and detects what modules are installed and
initializes them or something along those lines. Anyhow, it should be like
upgrading a router to versoin 4.5. CCO should have some docs

I have been going over the functionality of some protocols that I don't use
often, but I want to cover them for the CCIE lab.
I was trying to determine how different procotols learn about remote hosts.
For example: IP and VINES both use an ARP-like function.
What do other protocols such as

I'm trying to connect a new 2948-L3 switch to an existing 2948. I can't
seem to get them to talk. Can someone please provide me with a brief

you must configure a point to point interface or multipoint connection in
