I had a similar issue on a NM-4A/S module. A case logged with TAC and they
said the module was faulty. I got it replaced

Hi all,
I have a 2950-24 switch that I have set-up monitoring (spanning) on. This is
not a problem.
The particular port that is the destination goes into and up
down(monitor) state when the commands are enter. This is normal I assume.
The local server get the necessary port information from
I have just upgraded a PIX 515 to 6.2.1 from 6.1
There was a problem in that the image stopped after 5 secs. I had to erase
the flash and the reload the new image and she worked great.

12.1 is not a good revision. I have had no issues with 12.2.7c as yet

Well, 12.2.1 is the first revision of 12.2 mainline
that what you want to do would work, although I doubt it would
load balance between the two numbers - I think it would normally dial the
first number, and only dial the second number if the first one failed (or
is
engaged?)
Hope that helps,

Hi,
I am using DLSW over frame relay already. Works great. From what I can

Hi all,
I am just testing the theory here to see if this is possible.
I have a remote site with 2x ISDN BRI and a central site with 2x ISDN BRI.
These BRI's are backing up a dedicated 256k point to point link.
I have dialer interfaces created on both sites with the physical BRI's being
members
I have had the same porblems here - definately IOS related. All though I
have to manually erase the flash first, it works fine on the routers where
the flash is stored in DRAM - haven't ried it on a 2500.
This is fixed is ver 12.2 IOS.

I have set it up here with another colleague using frame relay encapsulation
and dialing up into a Nortel passport. In both IOS ver 12.1 and 12.0, the
router crashed with a software error. When you use IOS ver 11.3 it works
perfectly!!
I haven't had a chance yet to get TACs opinion on this one
than the
CCDA exam??!!
Thanks in advance
