Hi,
How can you ensure that only IP traverses across your ISDN line when it is
up. Scenario is that we have to run the ISDN line most efficient as
possible so that no matter what is configured on the router only IP can go
across it. I have tried a normal access list but of course for instanc

Does anyone have experience with Ameritrain for CCNP certification classes?
They offer an 8 week course (12 hours a week) for the CCNP track (all 4
tests). Hands on Cisco equipment and only 8 students max per class.
I have heard their radio commercials, but don't know anyone who has used
them.
Sorry for the off topic post.
Does anyone know how I can determine the MAC address of a remote device when
I do have the IP? I ping it but my arp cache only shows the local
addresses.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Sean,
Try 2 things. do a show users and see if you have already tied up that
line. If so do a clear line (then the number). If that doesn't work you
might have to do a stop bits=1 on your terminal line as sometimes the
default is 1.5 stop bits.

We have purchased several 1538Ms and have had some issues. Some of them
seems to go up and down randomly. We have purchased 100+ and just the last

version or just a bad batch from manufacturing.

It is my understanding that EIGRP and ISDN don't mix well at all. I
recommend that you don't do it
