I think that most people fail to understand that the CID exam is perhaps the most unique of the series. There is no practicality, and, while I was disappointed with the age of the exam, I thought that it opened the door to the design world better than the technical exams - routing, switching, etc.

Simple pre-sales level stuff on 'stratacom' is all I remember having to know. Number of slots, backplane, etc. You will do better in your search on CCO if you search 'wan switching' instead of stratacom. As usual, pay special attention to anything that has been EOL for a couple of years now ;-)
