one smart alecky answer is yes - frame relay. Caslow calls frame relay the
basis of understanding of x.25, ATM, and SMDS. Not that x.25 or SMDS are
relevant any more.
Although there are any number of particulars that are different, ATM
fundamentals are exactly the same as frame relay fundamentals
looking to know if there is a way to simulate an ATM network

performance. They also have a Switch Simulator as well... I used an older
version of the Router Sim when studying for my CCNA and it worked Great...
It is very inexpensive in my opinion when compared with the real
equipmen

I have used Router sim which is distributed by cisco only for the Cisco
Academies. It's quite good. Its good if you have some experience with
router for ccna, but if you cannot get hold of the equipment simulators are
the best option.
