Hi guys,
I’m the new owner of a C&C 37 called Northern Light. Although this is my 6th

questions until I educate myself enough to remain quiet.

Chris,
Call Edson and give them your pedestal's serial number (found inside the
pedestal under the compass on a blue tag). They can look up the exact cable
and chain length sold to the factory. Best to not assume a generic length will
fit as C&C 37 models cover a wide range of boats over many
Chris,
I’m fairly certain that a call to Edson will get you the correct Chain & Wire

of your pedestal to make sure they know which mode
I did change out the rig on my 35-3 last year, for new rod. The threads on the

I got dinged with a $93 CAD brokerage fee buying something from Defender

$93 was just unreasonable. I would have refused the package had I not had

Ok so, ALL the hatches on Rum Runner are crazed terribly and they all seem to
leak. It is my guess they have never had any type of maintenance over the life
of the boat. The plastic handles and latch plates are old, brittle and
cracking. Initially I was thinking of trying to rebuild them but

Possibly that explains it Bruce, your friend is 'off his meds'.
Don't even think about dropping your rudder with the boat in the water

Welcome! I tried to make a homemade StrutPro but I could not get the
collet to fit. Your boat has a thicker cutlass bearing, so using a pice of
pipe as a collet might be more feasible.

So I’m starting to get Paws (and me) ready for the next round of extended

Newfoundland. So here’s the question - how long is the sailing season in that

Spring is really unpredictable. This year it looks like spring is going to
come quite early. Many bodies of water that are often frozen in winter did
not freeze at all this year. There was no appreciable pack ice coming down
from the north, not much ice in the gulf so we expect the water to warm

I'd agree with Ken, spring can be unpredictable. This is doubly true in
