I think you'll find there are a LOT of people with laptop suspend / resume
problems ! Both my laptops lock hard when trying to do a resume. Both report
a kernel NULL pointer exception either in apmd or swapper :-(

through going into Suspend but has then just failed.

I'm trying to get KDE 2.2 working at work but whether I use the Mandrake or
RH rpms it always bombs out stating that libkssl.so.0 has an unknown sysmol
"polish__7KDialog". Could some body tell me which library this is defined in
? And it it is a required library why doesn't it show up i
r128 does exactly the same thing :-(

I thought I would give DrakNet a look. Two things struck me 1) No way of
entering a login script, but then as it appeared to launch Kppp I guess that
could be done there, and 2) No dial on demand option. You may not want to
connect at boot but it's certainly nice to be able to connect o

I typed rpm -Uvh i* forgetting that I had an i_foo_bar.sh in the same
directory. Rpm ouput the following :
i_foo_bar.sh: read manifest failed: Success
and did nothing more. I seem to remember that the old rpm would have said
i_foo_bar.sh not an rpm file and then carried on to update / in
