Thank you all for your feedback!
We have incorporated most of them into the new prototype

suggestions, I think we will keep the current landing page until there is
something really better.

I was not involved in the design :) - I am just a "user" really for the
website design :). So I will let the designers to answer it :).

Hey Jarek, that makes sense. I trust your instincts. Did you ever try
multiple shapes? Not just squares but circles and triangles too? —Chris

Hey Chris,
I looked at both and i like the "confetti" one much more than the "boxy"
one (After the "shuriken" logo, I got used to naming our design proposals -
makes it much easier to talk about them).
One reason is that the "boxy" one looks far more cluttered and distracting.
But I also have a b
I wanted to see how this box idea would play out on the actual website so I
mocked it up here: https://imgur.com/iOTBLuX
Hmmm, not sure about it. What does everyone think? Hopefully, it can at
least spark an idea from you Polidea folks. I also don't hate the original
confetti idea — it just feels
I made a quick sketch of the idea that I mentioned a few minutes ago. I
basically just created boxes at various widths, used the Airflow colors as
the border and used the same color at 10% opacity inside the box. Here are
two options, one with rounded corners and one with fully rounded edges.

Can we reuse the animation for a new Airflow 404 page? ;-)

I like the concept of the floating squares, though, as-is, they seem a bit

with the recognizable logos, it still feels relevant to Slack.
An idea: What if they were a different shape? Something a bit more relevant
to Airflo
Thank you all for your feedback. I will pass them to the team who is
implementing and hopefully share the new version in a day or two.

I like the animation too and +1 for dark mode. Few observations:
- on documentation page, it was not intuitive for me that the menu is
scrollable, should a scroll bar be added?
- on documentation page, the search loop is mixed with input field (my
screen 1680x1050)
In overall I really love the new
I like the animation, too. :) Maybe we can also change the animation a bit so
that the squares do not disappear and instead bounce back when they hit the
borders.
+1 for Dark Mode (but actually even I am a dark mode user I really like the
current one with white background) As Jarek said I think
I like the floating squares :-)

I really like it (including front page animation)! Looks fresh & modern.
There’s still some placeholders here and there so I won’t comment on those.
Some notes on the parts that are filled:
- would also put the slack invite page in the “join the community”
- the menu on the right side in the docs
I love it. Including the animation. I think we all need a bit of fun in our
work, no matter how serious we are. Even slack has similar animated
background https://slack.com/intl/en-pl/ (and they are pretty serious).
I have just two comments:

Excellent work! I really like it, esp. the documentation part. Thank you
everyone who contributed to it 👍
+1 for it is very subjective and I'm in favor of the moving elements. I'm
not so sure how being a project for serious user would conflict with just
showing some moving elements in the landing
Very nice work!
- Personally I quite like the moving background elements, and I do not find it
distracting. I believe this is very subjective, and we can discuss on each
other’s preference forever. So... But anyway, if there will be any vote, mine
is +1 for the current one.

Thank you both for your feedback.

Looking good overall, and a huge improvement in what we currently have!
(Not sure how much of this is relevant at this stage)
- On mobile the integration boxes are rather oversized (see screen shot of it

- Those link to readthedocs - but they should link to versioned docs hosted on

Hi Aizhamal,
I really dislike the moving background elements on the lading page. I already
found the previous example when they weren't moving hard to focus on other
elements such as finding the header menu and going to the documentation, for me
this is now easily twice as worse. If no one else
