For WOL to work in PCI2.2 machines, the Network card needs to be in

already has native lossless support (through FLAC) and there is
additional licensing costs for WMA Lossless. The only time i can see

After hours of tweaking the router settings I still couldn't get my

If it helps, I've got six wired SB2's connected to a linksys 16 port hub
and talking to a Dell P3 550 256MB RAM. It works like a champ. They
constantly tick RSS if not in use, but in use, 6 play independently
without skipping. Scrolling through the songs are fast and very
responsive.

There are two possible causes:
1) Other application hogging the server CPU for this time. I suspect
this is unlikely for the time period you are seeing [but not

2) Something in slimserver/a plugin taking a long time to complete and

It isn't surprising that, if there is a performance problem, the SLiMP3s
show it first - they have the smallest buffer. Not that that's any
consolation to the person who's having the problem, but that's a
factor.
Tourne: you mentioned you're running 6.2.1 and iTunes. I believe I saw

Have a look at Player Settings - Remote ... and see if JVC_dvd is
enabled. If so, turn it off...

Perl Interpreter Failed is usually a sign that there's something else
wrong with the system, could be disk errors, memory errors, virus,
etc... That error means that there was an internal error in perl
itself.

If you go into Title Format, what option do you have selected ? On the
web interface, click Settings on the Player side of the page (right).
If you select something like Title - Artist - Album there shouldn't
be any on the display.

settings - Plugins and added the new RSS feed entry. I clicked the Change
Tags are bits of information coded into the music file (Artist name,
Title, Track no etc) which are read by whichever application plays
them, whether it's Itunes, Slimserver or WMP.
When you rip your music to mp3, the tags are set as part of the

- Find out what key codes the keys you want to use represent
- Unzip the jar file
- Edit the XML for the skin's keybinding (its very straightforward to read)

Sometimes when updating it will need to rescan your music library. Don't
worry - this is normal. Also sometimes it will update the flash in your
squeezebox.
