Yes, never had any errors with local streaming. And I'm using Devolo
Homeplug, not wireless. Network Diagnostics does show the ISP traffic

am wondering why this has happened, and what I might do about it. The
aerial seems plugged in ok,though I could remove it and reconnect it.
Despite this low figure, playback seems fine, and the network test

that surprised me. I tried connecting via ethernet rather
than wireless, and got to Connected via Ethernet. I was therefore a

Nicecast has been mentioned several times over the years.
But Spotify on one's computer is free, and Nicecast costs, and isn't
particularly cheap. We need a Spotify plugin or the like, something
that is free (or cheap) that lets us use Spotify on the Squeezebox.

I use this setup, with two Airport Extremes.
To prevent the SB connecting to the wrong station, I set one of them to
only accept connections from specified MAC addresses. There are probably
other ways of getting the same effect.

They are plain text files, so any text editor can open them.
I think TextEdit would be fine, but I can't recall if one has to do
anything special to preserve Unix line endings. You may have to tell it
to make the text plain text format, not rtf.

I believe the Server Power Off plugin was Windows only. Remember that
anything in SqueezeCenter has to be cross-platform.
The Execute Script plugin is cross-platform, but I don't know how to
write a script for Windows.

I would assume that support would have suggested removing the
SlimServer cache. It may be irrelevant in this case, but it was needed
in one upgrade, and can't do any harm.

If you're going from SlimServer 6.5.4 to SqueezeCenter, you should
probably remove the SlimServer cache.
There have been changes in the structure of the cache, I forget when
that happened, and your symptoms are typical of a cache issue.
Why 6.5.4 isn't working properly I can't say.
