רעיון נחמד שהרהרתי בו, אבל דבר כזה היה צריך להגיע בסופו של דבר ממנו, לדעתי.
"תשמעו, הגורמים שהזמינו אותי הם פלסטינים, והם מתנים את התקציב בכך שלא ארצה

אני מבין, שסטולמן היה אמור לשהות כמה ימים בישראל לצורך מתן הרצאותיו.
לכן מישהו מישראל היה אמור לממן את שהותו בבתי מלון/אכסניות וכן את
נסיעותיו מהרשות הפלשתינאית לישראל ובחזרה.
מי היו אמור לממן את כל זה?
האם אותם גורמים יכולים להוסיף עוד כמה אלפי ש"ח כדי לממן גם את הטיסות
שלו?

שימו לב שהטיעון שלו הוא שמכיוון שכעקרון הוא לא נוסע במימון עצמי, האופציות
שלו הן או לא להגיע בכלל, או להגיע בהתאם לתנאים שלהם.
בשני המקרים הוא לא מרצה באוניברסיטאות בארץ.
אם נמשיך את האנלוגיה של אדי - הציעו לו כרטיסי נסיעה ב"רשיון קנייני", הכולל
תנאים בלתי ענייניים.

הוא היה אמור להרצות בין השאר באוניברסיטת חיפה, שם יש אחוז גבוה של
פלשתינאים אזרחי ישראל, לא?
אם היו לו ביצים לומר לפלשתינאים ללכת לעזעזל, סביר שהם היו מתקפלים.

מוזר שאותם אנשים החליטו לבחור בצורת מחאה כל־כך בוטה. הרי ידוע לכל שסטולמן לא
ממש בעדנו, אבל בסופו של דבר דווקא הקוד הפתוח הוא מהווה זרז גדול לקירוב בין
לבבות אנשים ומאפשר לנו לבצע איתם שיתופי פעולה רבים ואני בטוח שהם אפילו זוכים
להנות מפיתוחים שאנחנו עושים בארץ בתחום ה־RTL מבלי שאנחנו מנסים למנוע מ
אתה לא קיצוני, ואני מסכים איתך לחלוטין. העברתי הצעה דומה בנושא זה לועד.
מבחינתי אין שום מניעה שהוא ירצה איפה שהוא רוצה (חופש, לא?). חבל שהוא בחר
להכנע לסחיטות באופן שנוגד את הפילוסופיה שהוא בעצמו מעוניין להוביל.

תקראו לי קיצוני מניאק, אבל לדעתי אנחנו צריכים "לפוצץ" את זה ולהוציא החוצה את
המידע הזה. השכנים שלנו עשו תרגיל מלוכלך בכך שהם אוסרים עליו לבצע פעולות
