We have to remember that 30m is a shared band and we have secondary status.
Here in Europe we have problems with broadband signals around 10110, which
has virtually made a big part of the low end useless
for anyhting but S9 signals.
Strong commercial/military stations show up from time to time all

I think of more importance to those of us on my side of the pond is the
preponderance of operators from Europe who may have a different focus than east
coast and central North America, arguably the most challenging location for VU4

where DX stations could TX but that Americans could not (US
privileges started at 14200 for the longest time). Maybe it's time to

...just turn over some of theolder QSL's that were sent as
post cards and viola', an older stamp. Ihave found a number of 2 and 3
cent stamps in GREAT shape. That's partof the puzzle that non-hams are
looking for. That's one part...thepostcard collectors might see them as
specialized items
I also found them to be more difficult to work than I would have expected.
Like others have said, when they were loudest here on 160m and 40m, they¨were
calling "CQ JA" ...very frustrating. I understood the emphasis on Europe.
The only occation we noticed any emphasis on Europe was a window of

told me "No, because of noise levels". I took that to mean prob no 80 M
