A most welcome additional feature Paul.
Can't wait til my version 6 arrives!

Hello Paul.
Using DX4Win 5.03 the url
25 spots OH2AQ,http://oh2aq.kolumbus.com/dxs/dx25.html?|2
runs once but does not refresh - ever.
The vertical bar is shift "\" above the enter key.
The packet1 mode is "regular" "tcpip".
Is there some trick to getting this working? A setting somewhere?

In my DX4Win 5.03 manual it talks about how DX4Win checks to see
if sound is enabled on the computer and, because the software check
sometimes gives erroneous results, there is a way to bypass this check.
Specifically under the topic

Charlie your last two messages to the list came through with a
date of 1/1/2000 which causes the messages to appear at the bottom
of the usual mail list sorted by date.
Please correct this.

The issue of losing telnet spot connections has been discussed in a recent

To have a reliable spot connection I use the oh2aq

When I use this exact same url in my web browser it updates every minute

Ted I've been wondering why I have had problems and you don't.
I'm also behind a router and the windows computer also has
the ZoneAlarm firewall
but that has not seemed to stop the DOS attacks.
It's not a D-Link (Ugate 3000) but I've looked at the D-link and others

I recently went over the official ARRL DXCC countries list
and compared it to the list you get with F1 in the countries field of DX4WIn.
Here are some changes I would like to make.
1. Antarctica is listed as CE9 in the DXCC list, KC4 in DX4Win.
The only reason to change that is to maintain

I also have had the same problem for quite a while and it's quite annoying.
My setup has a cablemodem and router.
I believe that the telnet source asks for periodic acks and times

The house computer is where I log

I notice that there seems to be an "extra" country in my country database.
It was first encountered when entering Ducie Island - my first added country.
It has the prefix and country name is "New but incomplete".
Is this some template thing that DX4WIN uses when entering a new country

I changed the directory for DX4Win and noticed the program was not working
correctly
so I re-installed into the same directory ignoring the warning not to do that.
My .IEP, .CTY and one other DX4Win.??? file was reset to the original default.
I copied over those files from a fairly recent backup

So I would typically see a number of QSO's listed in that window.

I routinely mark all QSL's Method = Bureau
