bug with Mandrake 7.2.
When I ran netconf there was no 3c90x.o module available. When I went to my
modules directory, it was there. So I just did the following:
/etc/init.d/network stop

Are there some instructions on how to install truetype fonts with
Mandrake? I have only done it with xfstt -- which works very well -- but
Mandrake uses xfs.

In a 'normal' installation the network won't install without a network
card - you would probably have to manually add all of the components to
create a loopback. Easier to install a network card and try again.

installed Mandrake 7.2 and can't get system-wide PATH
definitions to work. I tried to use "csh.cshrc" as well as "csh.login"
(both of course found in "/etc') but nothing changed the "default"

Most projectors I've seen have limited resolution & refresh rates. I
imagine the LCD on your laptop is set to higher values, and the projector
can't handle it. Drop your res down to 640x480 (painful, I know) and 60hz
to test. Or you could find out the specs & actually make them right. I

e2fsck those 'fixed' inodes deleted /sbin/klogd , /sbin/syslogd , /sbin/hdparm and
