Router problems, seek suggestion

2002-06-06 Thread Laurent Daudelin
OK, folks, it seems that my cable router has given up. Don't know what happened, but yesterday evening, after dinner, when I went to check my mail, I noticed that I had no connection. I've then checked the cable modem and then noticed that the router didn't have any LED on, except the power LED.

XLR8 Interview comments?

2002-06-06 Thread Laurent Daudelin
While looking for routers/gateways, I came upon a deal from Other World Computing for the XLR8 Interview 2.0 USB video capture. I know that it's a lot less good than an analog to digital FireWire-based converter, like the Dazzle Hollywood bridge, but it's also about 4-5 times less expensive.
