I have a G4 iBook and got new for a discount because it only has a CD drive. That was all I wanted really. The seller, Small Dog, sold it as new old stock and provided the OS. You should know that if you find a G4 without a DVD drive you'll have to specify that your OS install disks

I have a G3 700 iBook that has been in twice for logic board replacement. Both times were no hassle. First time shipped from workplace to repair center. Second (just last month) was from AASC. First time it was diagnosed over the phone, second time by service tech at AASC. Hope this helps
