in the Windows Control Panel and turn on ToggleKeys. That way CapsLock,
NumLock, and ScrollLock all beep when you press them. That should
alert you whenever you press one by accident.

Another thought occurred to me... I think the choice of Font; Automatic
sizing/Fixed size comes into play. With Scroll-Bar enabled and automatic
sizing of font it frustrates... with fixed it scrolls.
