a the moment i am changing the layout of my vm system volumes - especiall

the ipl volume and the volume where the directory resides. But now the
dirmap does not provide gap information anymore. the minidisks are listed
correct, but there are no more information regarding free space

return information about the active system. Is there anything comparable
to those in z/VM REXX (I've been looking but perhaps not in the right

New box wouldn't IPL; turned out it was something to do with 2k/4k pages
- told you it was old. I'm not suggesting your having a 2k/4k issue! -

allocated an MVS dataset, and then mapped a CMS minidisk over the dataset's
allocation, and everyone was still happy and running.
