Try sucking out the dust (a must if you have shedding pets!). Find
the vent holes and apply the business end of a vaccuum cleaner hose.
Depending on the Mac model, opening 'er up and doing a full vaccuum
job is often a good plan.

Exactly. 9 times out of 10, a little common sense and googling
symptoms will narrow issues down better than any of those tools.

Legally, no. Technically, I think so, if it is a Leopard kit from a PPC Mini.
