Was the monitor a regular PC monitor or some variation of Apple monitor? As for the G4's specs, I believe that would be a Quick Silver 867 MHz. The system will run Leopard but somewhat slowly (I recommend having at least a 1 GHz). As for Logic Pro 9, I don't believe that runs on PowerPC, I think

This ere sounds a lot more like an internet issue than a computer issue itself. If it's running on Wireless I would check to see if moving it closer to the router\access point increases the speed, and if it's wired I would try restarting anything associated with the internet (modem, router, etc).
