Funny, I like the way it works now. Having a reports name in addition to
the real names seems overly complicated to me. However, if you always
want reports to show a specific name, you could always make that the chosen
name now and it would be the one that appears on reports.

correct parents. In Family View, if the child is showing up with your
preferred mother and not the father you want, then the child was entered
with the incorrect couple in the Family View. (correct mother, incorrect

Agree. The sources, address, pictures all are in the copied event,
saves tons of work. However, like Ron F I do this when entering the

I agree with Stan, with the addition that I give all web sites the lowest
Legacy certainty level unless it is obviously well sourced to original
(not secondary) records (in which case it gets the next lowest). There is
a lot of hokum out there.

Each time you close out after you edit a master source it will ask if you
want to change all copies of the source (top button) or create a new
source with the changed info (bottom button). If you use the second of
these you are making a changed copy of the original into a new source.
