Morgan is correct in saying that you do not close a MIAW directly. When
control to the originating script is passed, you will find that the MIAW
does not exist and the whole thing bombs out.
The only correct way to close a MIAW would be to set a global flag initially
set to "false" or some other

Director does not read Photoshop's alpha
NT can be a pain when using projectors. If your projector has its xtras and
runtime files packaged internally, then you will run into problems if the NT
Temp file has not been set up (which is so very common on the NT4 platform).
What you will need to do is put your xtras and runtimes in an "xtra

format - anybody know where it is?

Audio.
1./ You can use the sound playFile command to stream the MP3 from disk - be
warned as problems can insue if you try to read from multiple places on the

If you don't want to embed the font that kinda rules out OCR Extended (nice
computer terminal font), but also your choice for fixed-width fonts also
rules out prety much everything else.
If you choose to drop the fixed-width bit it goes without saying that Arial
and Verdana would be your best bet

Presumably you mean it to be some kind of reference
table like the stuff you
can get from Netscape on Microshaft for their
browsers.
Don't think that a Lingo DOM would be as clean though
as a lot of properties
inter-relate to each

It may be just me but this always produced erratic results. Plus I've gotten
into the habit from Uni of making code
