This might do the trick for you, but does not involve moving the accounts
table but under the composing button you can pick which account all mail

You need to use the old method of drag and drop.. that is mouse down on the
mail box then mouse up where you want it. it will place it below where your
curser is which sucks and I cannot get this to always work. In fact it's like a
40 percent chance I can get this to work.
