The best advice I can offer for a selection process of any system once you
narrow the field is to prepare a test script. Give the vendor a specific
script to follow, with data you provide. This helps you understand exactly
much better what a system will and will not do in your environment.

is probably the most used system in the Museum. It certainly costs more than
some systems, but I think you will eventually end up moving into a full DAMS in

I did not receive any responses from museums using RFID. The only
responses were requests to share what information I did receive.
As our project has progressed we are probably not going to pursue RFID,
due to the cost relative to bar coded cards.
