Those look a lot like the crimp-on clamps for sprinkler
systems. But those don't have that extra band inside,
and are probably all the wrong size.

but I spent a couple hours on it and I cant get it do to anything. NOt
sure if Im hitting the adjustment or not. Is there some special tool

The 260 had 158hp, I bleeve. If your heart is set on a 124, the best of all
is the 300E 2.8. 194hp and a hell of a lot less maintenance.
