German hitch won't fit unless your car is euro. I had a euro 123 wagon, small bumpers, and sourced a used euro hitch for it. Euro hitch attaches at bumper points, US-spec cars have different bumper attach points, so euro hitch won't fit unless you also get euro bumpers and convert your car.

The factory hitch bolts to the support members under the floor of the trunk. Holes are already there, it's a standard frame hitch. A bumper hitch won't work. Any place that makes custom hitches should be able to work one up for you. Peter ___
