When I got the car, the only thing that didn't work on it was the parking
brake. You pulled on the release and it just slid right out of the dash.

model name can perform at opposite ends of the quality spectrum, if they are
different sizes, made on different days, made by different plants,

That could very well be the case, but without getting the whole assembly out or
at least being able to access it, I can't tell.
The release cable is buried in the pedal assembly somehow, and even requires a
special tool to remove and install it. There are two bolts that hold the whole

Another thing to consider is if the tire is a big box store rebrand of a
tire, like a Michelin or Goodrich. I never had issues with bad belts in tires
until I bought brand name tires from a big box retailer.

clean it of rust is to put it into a small electric cement mixer
along with a couple of shovels of sand. Worked for me a couple of

I can identify with this. While I like my S430, it’s completely soulless
