I was trying to install the following packages:

XFree86-4.0-6mdk.i586.rpm
XFree86-75dpi-fonts-4.0-6mdk.i586.rpm
Will it make a big difference running Mandrake if I upgrade from 64 to
128 megs? How much should my swap file be with 64 megs? Should it be
the double? Same for 128?
Thanks,

Actually I was going to try that. I have all my windows-netscape mail
files archived and was going to try and import them into
linux-netscape...what about deleting the .lock or .summary files and
copying my old windows-netscape mail files into the .nsmail directory.
When you start up Netscape
last year I tryed out and it didn't work for me.

Verify first of all if youve get all the necessary packages related to

See www.rufus.com , go to distributions, mandrakesoft and select the first

No, not every program is like that. The thing is, you want to be
'root' when you install stuff to your machine because that's what keeps
your system secure. If anything could install itself to your system,
you'd be wide open for a virus attack. However, most programs only
