The problem is with your "make" utility in linux.
But i believe red hat 6.2 has all the tools required
for compiling. I have Apache1.3.12+Mod_SSL+OpenSSL
running beautifully on my RH6.2.
Check out your make utility . if possible try

I am installing Globus Toolkit 3.2.1 on a Solaris 8 machine and am
running into the following error in the openssl package.

I just installed OpenSSL-0.9.7g and it appears that I’m
missing the file “libcrypto.so”. The installation seemed to go
fine. I really need this fine for a particular application that we are
running. How can I get this file installed?

I modified the file
config to put a line
PERL="/usr/local/bin/perl"
(perl is my executable file)

I am trying to get openssl installed and after making my
keys and such I did a test on the command line, and here
are the errors that I am getting. And I have no idea what
they mean. Any help would be appreciated. If you need
