300 f4 and it seems to be a sharp lens, though I have not used it much.

Tamron PKA adaptall mounts don't have the A setting per se. The
minimum aperture defaults as the A setting, and is usually
(always?) a different colour from the other aperture numbers.

I'm assuming the aperture ring is in place.
You should have the spring, the pin it goes under, a right-angle
"arm" with
a slot (where the pin fits -- It also has a tab on the long end),
and a small metal plate that connects to nothing.
