Last night I found a roll of Kodak RG25 in the back of the fridge. It's
about three years out of date, iirc. What sort of results can be expected
from this film? Fogged? Color shift? Other things? Do I need to tell
the lab anything to adjust development?

I'm looking for an 8X to 10x loupe for 35mm viewing. Is there anything out
there that can be recommended?
Also, since I'm now the owner of a 6x6 format camera, which loupes can be
recommended? Anything that'll cover the entire neg and give about a 4x -
5x magnification?
Shel
They'll probably be fine, perhaps a little underexposed. Rate it perhaps a
little lower.

It should be fine if it was in the fridge. If not, there's really nothing you
can do to correct it. Just shoot it normal. Of course you wouldn't use it for
anything critical. When I've had problems with outdated film, it's been color
shift. But I suppose anything is possible.

looking across the archive. But maybe it's no excuse (wearing sackclothes
and ashes ...)
I have got a *istDs body three weeks ago and I am quite

In the 4X range, I have one of these that I am very
happy with:

Great field of view, great eye relief, no distortion,
no color fringing, and great for the money. The Pentax
5.5X is very nice, but twice the cost.
In the 10X range, I have a
The way color film ages is from a greenish cast to magenta. If it's
been in the fridge all this time the aging
process has been retarded, but it will still have a magenta cast of some
kind. It may also be a bit fogged.
If this a professional film then it will be a bit more magenta than an

I hate to go OT but a guy was rescued off NZ's tallest mountain the other

What else you got growin' back in there Shel? I'd like to see a picture of
