I would suspect a bad hot shoe adapter, I've had a lot of
them that
had problems. I would also recommend using a Wein Safe Sync
to be on
the safe side ...

Hello hello,
Does anyone know how best to side-step the lack of a pc
connector on an ist DS? I am stumped - I tried an old pc
connector to hot shoe adapter and that did not work. I ask
because I would like to use the ist DS with a Novatron kit.
All help much appreciated.

Luigi,
Just using plan old Windows 2000.
Hmm, if you have the time, can you explain what
gcc is? Does this advice still apply if I am
using Windows?
Yep, I am not especially savy with computers.

Hi,
Anyone here know much about how to install a
Gimp Plug-In? I went to their official site,
picked the download option for the redeye
plug-in, and I get a text version of the
program. Does the same thing for other
plug-ins.

David, I assume you are talking about the lens in the
viewfinder eyepiece. If so, when you get it out, your
friendly local optician could probably grind a
new one to fit, assuming you can not find a donor camera.
Just take the old one in and ask.
Graywolf,
Thanks for the idea.

Brian, I have this lens (Tamron SP 90 macro, an older
one)also and have two mounts for it. One is marked P/KA
which I suppose is the Tamron 2. The other one I have is for
screwmount cameras and is labeled P/

Hi all,
Does anyone know if it is easy to remove the viewfinder of
an KX? Mine has a little scratch in it that bothers me
a bit. Would it be easy enough to swap it with another
from a beater? Does anyone have a KX parts camera?
Thanks

Collin,
Not sure this wasn't already covered, but just to chime in:
The IIa is a little slimmer than the IIIc, has no meter but
does have a rangefi
