There are two products: Adobe Photoshop Elements and Adobe Premier Elements.
Photoshop is for still photos. Premier is for video. Adobe sells them
individually, and does a bundle of both products in a single package.

I just bought a new 64 bit PC. I've been using Adobe Elements 10 for awhile
now. I installed the initial 32 bit disk and found the displayed images to be
soft. The three disk set included a Premiere which was marked "64 bit." I
installed it and the images display in high resolu
7;s always been possible to tweak Elements
to do things like add layer masks and run some actions but this
plug-in looks as if it simplifies the process and adds a lot more
functionality to boot.
It's $40 until mid April.

You need a student or teacher ID, but my daughter-in-law teaches special ed.
It's not as cheap as your PS Elements upgrade, but barely $100.

configured the same way in v7 as in v6, I have two suggestions:
One is that she doesn't have PS installed, and have configured
elements to always use an external editor. The menu option in PSE6 is
Edit>Preferences>Editing...
Any one using this combo.
One of the horse show organizers i deal with bought elements 7 and has
problems with it. Organizer works but when she goes to the editor, it
says PS cannot be found and freezes up,.

In my opinion photographing scchool children for the grandparents is quite
allright. Nothing wrong with that if they are happy and it pays the rent :-)

The installation most likely put in an older version of the Camera
Raw plugin. Go to Adobe.com, download and install the latest version
of Camera Raw for PSE5.

that was included in the previous versions? Brid
I feel pretty good about this new rendering.
And I appreciate your suggstions for further improvements: Clone out the
green CA in the oystercathers chest, I will probably do that, and I will
also look into darken the third bird a tiny bit.

This one is a rather dark soft edged "blob". I have a bulb and will
give it a try.

Hot pixels are pixels which are always lit, they show up bright.
There are also dead pixels, which show up dark.

As far as dust, most dust spots will cover more than one pixel and tend to
show as oof blobs, sometimes quite large. That is where the blower bulbs are
really handy.

dark or light? Is a dust speck dark or light?
