MacOS 8.0, but it doesn't work...
I've two cards:
-Dell True Mobile 1150 (128RC4 encryption)
-Orinoco/Lucent (WEP encryption)
Both cards seems to be the same model, PC24E-H-FC.
Both cards are working correctly in a pc laptop.

not chance it. I beleave it will need the G3.

IOXperts and Macsense have drivers that will work on your 3400 as long as

My 3400c usually works fine on wireless, using the enterasys/orinoco
card. Last night and this morning it couldn't connect to my router, the
ip addy was set to 169.254.14.31 which was the same as the router addy.
Subnet was 255.255.0.0. I've seen this dns before, it's there every time
the card
for the PCs that will give a list
of all attached nodes (the wireless router, that is).

meg, which I would think would be enough.
Same card in mine, works perfectly with my 80 megs. Slow with Mozilla,
way better with Icab.
My 3400 has the max ram in also, and both the orinoco card and the pro
wireless card work fine in it.

32mb of ram. but since the ram upgrade it has been fine.

You wireless cards, on the other hand, are NOT supported by
AirPort. The Dell TrueMobile 1150 is a clone of the ORiNOCO/WaveLAN
card, but it has a different (for lack of a better word) identifier
to your PowerBook. AirPort expects only certain card identities, so
it will not work with your
