Steve - Also, near as I can tell, PowerMail exports no flag for Sent or Draft mail. So there is no way to tell them apart in an export. This could be a problem for people who use draft messages as notes. Would using Emailchemy solve your problem? - Winston Winston Weinmann wrote: >St

Steve - I tried my suggestion to export test files using the various export formats PowerMail supports. I tried Eudora, Mail, Unix, PowerMail Exchange, Tab Text and Tab Text UTF8. I had one Read message and one Unread message in each export. In every case PowerMail had this for both messages:

Different mail programs also have different ways of storing messages and other data. How information is stored is not an excuse for not being able to export some of the data. An export function should be able to export all the data connected with a message. Read/Unread flags are part of this data.

Thanks for that suggestion of a term for messages not of use to the recipient, but of use to someone on the mailing list. I'd not seen that before. A much better term than "spam". My apologies for using the word "spam" if that offended you. I have tried to explain that in another post, as has Bruce Barrett. You argue that I should search the archive, then go to the mailing list for answers. This is more efficient than a forum? I have only submitted questions to CTM which d

No, this is a bug/flaw in PowerMail. The mailing list recently had a LONG discussion about this. In my experience (OS 10.3.9/10.4.9 on a G3 600Mhz iBook, PowerMail 5.5.3) HTML mail also prints only a header with a box around the perimeter of the page. There is no text. Workarounds are to: - use th

While I am not an AppleScript expert by any means, I have a couple of thoughts. 1. AppleScript runs as a program in OS X (or as part of OS X). It is not part of PowerMail. So once PM activates a script, PM and the script run independently, and at the same time. PowerMail would run faster on itself
