If they say it is “within tolerance”, do they have “specs” to show that?

James, where is the CT located?
If it’s in a panelboard/loadcenter, I understand that they are not “certified”
to allow CT’s inside so the work-around is to pass the conductors thru a
jbox before the panelboard and locate the CTs there.

Ray,
Two quick suggestions...
1. Have you considered leapfrogging the battery connections? This would avoid
the long negative cable run and have both positive and negative runs closer to
the inverters.
2. Could you locate the Birdhouse inside a lockable box or cabinet?

Nope. I was trying to imagine what they would look like. It doesn't appear to
be a typical channel nut design. Maybe an inverted t-head bolt type?

If you have attic access between the two roofs or separated arrays then install
a Soladeck at each array and run the interconnecting wires thru the attic. If

locating the base/flashing too high on the course/row of shingles and, if the

Jason mentioned S-5 clamps... adding to that, it might be interesting to
have samples of many different racking system components. It would be
interesting to see all the different rail profiles and attachment methods
(racking system to roof and module to rail) that are out there.
