into my user.r file, but when I execute a script with rebol.exe %1 (eg,
double-clicking on it) the setting is left at 30. Do I have to put a line in
most of my scripts to increase the timeout for safety, or is there

There's always the matter that the list can take up a large part of the
thought and discussion on this matter, formulate a nice proposal, submit the

Oh occassion, I've seen this behavior, too, with some of my messages. Well,
I can't state which server it was, however, but it wasn't my ISP's fault, I
know that much.

besides, WinZip can usually detect which decompressor to use, even if the

I just made an incredible discovery! I was looking for the function to tell
me what the current directory is, I thought that it was what-dir?,
One part of REBOL that can feel odd is when i have to
define local variables of a function in the first
block of the function. I find it a bit annoying to
have to add new variables to the list for every little
local variable I use. In addition, I feel it clutters

This is my personal opinion, from what I've read, without trying IOS. But
you might want to use REBOL/Core (for a text interface) or REBOL/View (for a
gui) for your mail client. I don't really think you need IOS for all of that.
My impression of IOS is that it's a whole suite of programs and
'Dummies' is, yeah, intended for beginners, but it's also a good quick ref.
And of course they all need updating - they need updating every time REBOL
is updated. However, it's really not worth it to update a print item until a
major change of content or time - ie, 6mos and REBOL/Core 2.7,

I actually haven't worked with XML, but if I understand correctly, XML isn't
a language so much as it's a set of rules for building other languages (such as
XHTML), so you'd need a script for each individual dialect - plain XML just

I'd say it's more indicative that people actually have real lives away from
computers and why waste precious free
My webhost has allowed me shell access, and I stuck REBOL in ~/rebol/ .. no
problem. I just set up my REBOL CGI scripts to go there. Other than that..
*shrugs* If there's more that I'm not following here, leme know.
I will be needing to set up a site for my business in the next day
or
-than, because how do you *define* which is greater and which is
less? But 'minimum just takes something like 'minimum AxB CxD and returns ExF,
where E is the smaller of A and C, and F is the smaller of B and D. Pretty
basic. Not sure, myself, what use it is, but hell, there it is.

a similar question had cropped up in the past, but I can't find the post
now. Anyone help? The address is in the form of
http://site/dir/dir/file.ext?argsargs ... thing is, args includes characters
like %3C and arg=123 a couple times. Any assist? Thanks.
