Some NT servers stay up for months at a time (I know, I'm supporting a
7x24 NT network). Unix is better than NT for some (maybe most) things,
but not all.

have been going crazy trying to get a PLIP connection between the two.
I have read every section containing the word PLIP in the NAG,
NET-3-HOWTO, and the PLIP mini-HOWTO (which is far from informative.)
