Hi,
I just created my first data cd using mkisofs and cdrecord. I noticed
something that I don't understand. When I view the cd -- a backup of my
home directory -- on my Linux box, all the data seems to be in its proper
place, though a new directory, /rr_moved/, is created -- that is empty.

I have a couple of quick questions about cdrecord and CD-RW drives.
1) To re-write to a CD-RW drive, I gather you must use the blank=all
parameter. Must I issue this as a separate command like so before telling
cdrecord to write the image to the disk:
cdrecord -v speed=2 dev=0,6,0 blank=all

Today, I decided that I would try to burn updated Rh6.2 CD's from Linux.
Previously, I've made the iso image then burned the CD from WinDoze.
Cdrecord version 1.8a29.
I can mount the .iso image and read any files from it using:
mount -t iso9660 -o ro,loop=/dev/loop0 /var/
The last time this didn't go through.
