Most pilots overlook this, but there is an effective way to enhance energy transfer and fidility on installations where the servo is glued to the (inner) upper surface of a molded wing. Glue a balsa spacer to the inside surface of the cover that is thick enough to contact the surface of the servo.

One thing that I read about awhile back was an electronics board, or maybe it was an add-on of a comp. radio. At any rate what it did to slow the plane down was to activate and completely offset all control surfaces at once by flipping one switch. (with control for landing in mind) Scott RCSE-L

One thing you can try is to "crab" the plane by moving the rudder one direction and moving the ailerons the opposite direction. The plane will still be going forward in a straight line but the fuse will be slightly sideways, creating drag and slowing it down. I'm attempting to master this techin

Calculate the area in square inches in your wing. 12 *12= 144sq". A 900 sq." wing divided by 144 = 6.25 sq. ft Find out how much your plane weighs in oz. If your plane weighs 65 oz. divide 65 by 6.25 remember900 / 144 = 6.25 65 oz / 6.25 sq. ft = a wing loading of 10.4 oz per square ft
